2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, at London Shindig, August 2007. More gold than red. Rather clammy, sweaty aroma. Flavour is better with lots of caramel malt and sweet toffe. Rather thin mouthfeel. Not impressed. Perhaps it hadnít travelled too well.

Bottle at Chris_o shindig. Reddy-copper with thin white head. Metallic stuffy malt with a thin coating of dusty hop. Sweet coating mouthfeel, metallic tinge. Alcohol present towards the end. Not great

50 cl bottle shared with willblake and dickinsonbeer. Burnt orange color that was lightly opaque with a small white foamy head. Aroma of cheap grain sweetened with even cheaper sugar and some sour white grapes. The following are my exact tasting notes..."I like how my tounge tingles towards the end. Sweet and rotten at the same time. White grapes + sulfur + grain." Well I was pretty drunk when I drank this and Iím guessing that was a very good thing.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Clear light amber color with a small, virtually none, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty and yeasty, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watey, carbonation is flat, finish feel is metalic.

This really isnít all that good. It has an amber color with effectively zero head. The taste is sour without being purposefully so.

Bad than the pale ale style, but with the same aftertaste , perhaps the caramel used help to taste better, but is a bad beer too.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Iíve never had a beer from Argentina, so I just had to buy this when I saw it - light amber beer, with a fizzy body and a fast-fading head - aroma of hard water and faint, unidentifiable malts - I must echo what a previous rater has said, and state that this beer seems very watered down, like someone made a 50/50 mixture of carbonated water and still beer - thereís a whole lot of nothing happening here - a wee bit of metallic character, and the faintest touch of malt - there is a very mild oaky character far in the back, but that is hardly enough to make this interesting - there are no discernible flaws, unless you count its blandness, but still, itís just...just...meh! - to paraphrase some lame-ass philosopher, there is no "there" there.

@Mondial de la BiŤre 2012, Montreal - quite clear amber beer with a poor head retention; apparent alcohol, corn and caramel; pretty sweet and quite sticky; pretty fizzy; chewy and dry finish with notes of red fruits bubblegum - dubious
