MrBunn (801), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 11, 2008 Bottle. Orange body (this is a red ale?) with a fizzy, yet small, head. Aromas are caramel and maple... that’s about it. Flavor is maple, caramel and sugar with little else to offer. Not quite to the point of being cloying, but not very well balanced. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 14, 2008 500ml bottle-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is sweet caramel/rock candy-medium malt. Taste is sweet caramel/rock candy-medium malt/grainy/peat/roasty/earthy, fruity, diacytl/buttery. No hops, so out of balance. Mild carbonation. sneagrams3 (1342), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 26, 2008 Tasted 5/25/08. 500ml bottle. Filtered with a tappering amber to golden hue. Slight ring of bone white head. Caramel bready aromas. Slightly vagetal. Medium bodied with bready cinnamon flavors. Smooth with a slight bitterness. Mild tingle. Estery with a moderate hop profile. Rather sticky with a decent dose of alcohol. Decent palate. Hits the sweet bitter and tart. The palate rolls sluggishly. Only moderate, at best. thegreenrooster (1447), St.louis, Missouri, USA May 23, 2008 Pour is a dark with with a small white head. Aroma is of sweet malts and a little molasses.
