Bottle in Vienna. The usual medium brown dunkel color. Decent head. Not a very strong aroma, would like a little more actually. Cant really sense any darkish or roasted malts. Clear, refreshing taste, medium body, rather light for the type, I think. Malt is not roasted all that much; a bit, but I would prefer a little more. It has a good malt taste, though, and a decent balance. Just slightly sweet, which I like, but there is very little of the usual caramel flavor. I dont mind that either, but without strong roasted flavor it tastes a bit too little like a dunkel. A decent hop aftertaste, though basically staying within the limits of the style. All in all I like it, but it is not altogether interesting or original. A good, easy to drink light-bodied dunkel.
