Tall can thanks to Alex for bringing this over for me. Pours out a crisp pale straw topped with a small white head. Nose is sweet malts corn and honey. Taste is as the nose with some nice tartness and malts.

From the can. Clear golden pour with a sudsy, brilliantly white head. Nose is pleasant, sunny malt and dusty yeast. Malty, leaning lightly sweet and not really bitter. Medium/thinnish body but a nice creamy feel over extremely mild industry/astringent extracts. Could be a bit crisper, but at the low level of alcohol, this is a nice cheapy [and Austria seems to make quite a few passable pale lagers]. From 31 May 2011.

Can. A golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and dusty hops as well as a light note of metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and dust as well as a lighter note of metal - I guess from the hops.

Can 50 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Clear yellow with a dense white head leaving some laces. Some malt in the aroma. Medium body, malt and brewing cereal with a light touch of flowery hops. The finish is dry with some bitterness. 040409

.5L can served a bit too warm. Pours pale yellow with a frothy white head. Has a light body; a bit watery; Medium+ carbonation. The aroma is mildly hoppy with toasted malt; a little metallic. Tastes like a more-or-less a mediocre light pils, with a lasting, mildly bitter and hoppy finish. O: OK for a budget beer.

The beer is now 4.6% and called Gambrinus Schankbier. It has a cardboard and dusty aroma with a little bit of horseblanket. Pale golden colour, white rocky head and fair lace. Bit soapy flavor, light bitter and maltsweet. Light to medium full body.

Canned, 50 cl. Tastes of sweet bisquits. Could be a fine beer with a more liberal use of hops.
