Sötét sárga, tört fehér habbal. Erős malátás illat, alkoholos testes olajos állag de eléggé egysíkú nedü. Befejezése kellemes és enyhe, komlós. Tűrhető.

judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 4, 2010
Appearance: Polished golden color with a diminishing white head.
Aroma: Syrupy malts with a hint of cooked corn and a faint gasoline burn.
Flavor: Very faint honeyish malty initial with a harsh bitter, grassy hops and a lingering alcoholic burn.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Medium body with harsh carbonation and a watery feel.
Overall: A very one dimensional, industrial helles/maibock IMO.

mross (169) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAR 29, 2010
Pours a golden orange colour with a decent white head. Aroma is very weak with only small notes of toffee, malt and yeast. Flavour is sweet with the alcohol noticeable. A slight bitterness throughout. Clean and crisp for a bock, but not very complex.

Bottle. Poured with a good head. A rather malty, slightly sweet aroma. A slightly dark blonde color, more like a Maerzen than a helles. Pretty good aroma, rich and malty. Rich, medium to heavy body, full malt taste. A little bit sweet, but with very good, strong hops and nice balance. Long-lasting aftertaste. Decent Austrian bock.

0,5 l bottle, bought at a Billa, near Stiegl-Ambulanz.
Poured clear pale yellow, small white head. Grass leaded aroma with caramel and malt, some mild vanilla. Sweet malt flavor with a light caramel, vanilla and honey taste. Grassy hop in the finish. Well hidden alcohol.

500ml bottle picked up at a Spar Gourmet shop in Wien. Clear golden body topped by a thin ring of foam. Late grass to the nose. Taste of mild malty sweetness with hints of fruits. Smooth and medium palate. Considering the strength the alcohol is well masked (29.11.2007).

On tap at the Berliner Bierfestival. Clear golden serving, with a small, white head. Sweet and malty nose with a little fruityness. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s a weak note of alcohol and some hops as well. Medium to full and a bit sticky mouthfeel. Quite nice, at least it was a welcomed change from all the pilsners.
