Red color, soft creamy head, very stable. Aroma is malty, sourly-fruity with light roasted malt notes. Taste is malty round, pithy. Light sweetnesws and notes of roaste malt in the aftertaste.

draught at Prilisauer Wien. Hazy amber-golden colour, creamy white head. Malty with caramel and a nice hoppy touch, also hints of a yeasty fruitiness.

Vom Faß im Universitätsbräuhaus im Alten AHK, Wien. - Rotbraun, trüb, hellbräunlicher Schaum. - In der Nase fruchtiges, leicht röstiges Karamelmalz. - Antrunk karamelmalzig mit leichten Toastnoten, erfreulich wenig süß, mild fruchtig-herb und kaum bitter. Erfrischend fruchtig-säuerliche Akzente (Weintrauben). Mild rezent, schlank; hefig-volles Mundgefühl. Im Abgang etwas fruchtig herb. Auch beim Wärmerwerden noch sehr schmackhaft. - Angenehmes, gut abgerundetes und süffiges Rotbier.

On tap at Ofenloch in Vienna .. poured nice reddish color, somewhat hazy ... taste was medium bodied, with some creaminess and sweetness. Overall, I nice amber beer and I would buy again

Draft. Cloudy amber Body with White head. Aroma is grainy malts with floral notes. Taste is malty and some caramel with rich mouthfeel. Aftertaste is mostly malty sweet and not very much bitterness. Nice one.

<i>Draught at Bettelstudent, Vienna. </i> Cloudy amber, rich creamy head. Creamy dough with custard and salt. Soft and somewhat grassy with aniseed and fennel coming through towards a slightly resiny finish. Like drinking dough.

Humm, guessing this is it, as the Gösser Jubiläumsbier is refered to mostly as "Dunkles Zwickl". Draught at the 3 Goldenen Kugeln, Seiersberg, Graz as the "beer of the month". Anyway, poured a darker, completely murky red colour. Fruity malty nose, nothing too special. The taste is pretty much more of the same, full and kinda ruined by some kind of acidity and yeastiness. Slightly underwhelming, but still better than the average Austrian lager and it did well to douse the fires the lovely 3 Goldenen Kugeln Country Cordon left in my untrained mouth. I’ll probably rerate this at a point since I’m not 100% sure if I should even be rating it.

22/01 Draught at the 3 Goldenen Kugeln, Graz. It had hazy reddish brown body with medium, slightly off white head. Weaker, sourish aroma, also peachy. Very slightly sweet caramel flavor, balanced with grass hops, but although pleasant it was quite watery. No matter of its thin body, awarded us with quite long, mostly hoppy finish, sourish to slightly bitter, with some caramel sweetness emerging at the very end. It’s definitely a Zwickl, not a Vienna, but I’m not too impressed after all.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 On tap in Vienna. Hazy reddish brown colour with a yellowish head. Parfumed nose. Light malty and a lot of fruity flavour.
