3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught in Wien.
I suppose this is only released for one week of the year, on tap, and I was waiting in expectation. It was very cloudy, very malty, slightly fruity. Relatively rich malt. In the end though, it was quite disappointing. It really didn’t have much character to it at all. It had a good amount of hops, working with the alcohol to balance the malt. But the malt itself, though okay, was lacking in character. The alcohol was a bit too evident. It was decent, but not what I was really hoping for in this one-week-a-year only bock from tap.

On tap at Pürstner, Vienna
Fruity, pleasant malty. Light hazy, golden color. Pleasant malty but not very sweet, Astringent finish with some dryness. Good Bock!
