albertane (300), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England Jun 21, 2008 Cask at the Golden Fleece, Nottingham. This copper beer with a fluffy head has a malty aroma. The flavour is sweet and very fruity at the start with hints of strawberry and then turns bitter for a dry finish.
Mes_and_Sim (4487), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 30, 2008 A Mes rate: cask at Baker Street ’Sporks. Full on copper colour with a slight off white collar. Fairly bland on the nose but the decent fruity malt gives it a good base. Sweet nutty notes with, trust me on this one, a pleasant hint of cheeseburger. Honestly. Very malty, almost no hops but it’s still a nice enough drop. Sweet malt finish but really, where are the hops?
