Tried at the Tudor house, Twekesbury. Pale Amber colour almost no head. Aroma is dull, and has a touch of malt. The taste mildly sweet. OK bitter but it won’t set the world alight.

Bottled. A clear amber / light copper colour. A moderate off-white head and noticeable carbonation. Good malty aromas with fresh but more subtle hops. A sweetish malt start, balanced well by a dry hoppy finish (with a characteristic English hop flavour.) Noticeable acidity and prickle from the carbonation throughout. A pretty good traditional session bitter.
