2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BlackHaddock (2440) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2013
23 March 2013. Hand-pulled pint in the lovely and remote ’Butchers Arms’ in the sleepy hamlet of Sheepscombe, Gloucestershire.
Golden brown body with small but staying head of white bubbles.
No great smell, but more malts than hops in what aroma there was.
Malts also lead the flavours in the mouth, mildy caramel and semi-sweet with a fruity background (mixed berrys) and a semi-dry hop bitter finish. Not bad at all for a 3.6% ABV session beer and ideal when driving, as I was on this day.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 HogTownHarry (5713) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2012
Handpull at The Bell (Cannon Street). Clear bright gold, small frothy head. Somewhat sweet aroma - honey, a bit of golden syrup, not much hopping or alcohol. Taste is more sweet tea than beer - again no alcohol. Slick, watery, still, incredibly quick to finish and completely slide off the palate. More nothing than bad ...
