Cask. Very light straw ale with a thick white head. Nose a slightly soapy lemon with a light malt biscuit. Taste is very mild with a little lemon biscuit. Bit boring.

Pivo piji jako každý obyčejný člověk, mé komenty tedy nemaji takovou hodnotu jako u pivnich znalců. Pišu sem jen protože musim pro statistiku :D

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Just average I’m afraid. Grassy lemon and sharp hops. Straw appearance. Really nothing special and not memorable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Falcon, Clapham Junction on 24th January 2015. Amber with thinning, off-white lacing foam. Yeasty, hoppy aromas. Grassy and citric hoppiness blends with caramel malt in-mouth. Malty fruity finish with burnt sugar and toffee flavours. Light to medium body and zingy mouthfeel.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tasted this in Tennents Bar, Glasgow on the 2nd February 2015. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Yeasty bread notes in the short hoppy aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malt base gives a distinct biscuit flavour with lemon pith clear in the mouth. Dry dusty quality to the hoppy aftertaste which continues through into the hoppy finish with a slight metallic tang present in the palate. Not one of the best examples of a Golden Ale out there but your not stuck for choice on that category either!

On cask at the Haymarket.
Appearance - pale golden with a proportionate head.
Nose - lemon pith and floral notes.
Taste - more intense lemon. Maybe some herbs.
Palate - light bodied but with quite a creamy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - yeah golden ale alright and decent.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at Prince Regent, Herne Hill. Pours a light gold with a dense white head. Aroma is lightly doughy with a vague citrus thing happening. Light body, mild carbonation. Light candy, bubblegum, a little lemon citrus, light white brad with a little yeastiness. Pretty dull overall.
