From the bottle (and from notes from last October). A great collaboration that’s led to a seriously impressive DIPA. There’s a fantastic balance between a hop bitterness and a orange juice hop aroma that makes the beer rise head-and-shoulders above the average DIPA on the shelf. Quality stuff.

12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. Got this on a trade from some time ago. The pour is a darker ruby color with a light gold tint and a thin cap of white head that falls to a collar, leaving a couple pieces of lace. The aroma is surprisingly juicy. There is a lot of citrus juice and a light hop presence. There is also a light malt on the back end. It's got a little toastiness on the finish, which is a little weird. The flavor is an absolute malt bomb. There is a weird sweetness that comes through there is a touch of juiciness that shows up at first, but it's just a malt bomb. The bitterness is resounding and it's just malt based. The mouth feel is excellent. The carbonation is spot on. The aftertaste is incredibly bitter and malt dominated. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is juicy, lots of tropical fruit, slight pine, slight malt, very nice. Appearance is amber, opaque, off white head. Taste is malty as fuck, some tropical fruit but mostly pine and malt. Mouthfeel is medium body and crisp carbonation, a very bitter malt aftertaste. Overall, this is awfully disappointing for the expectations.

Tap at Station Room, attached to Mt Snow, Vermont. Pours honey color, creamy white head, nice lacing persists. Aroma is pineapple, mango, orange, slight pine. Flavor is redankulous. Lots of pine, resin, some citrus. Big big NE hop bitterness finish. Solid. So much more bitter than sip of sunshine but I guess this is a collab anyway. None of that residual sweetness you get from some DIPA.

Pours clear orange lots of foamy head and tons of lacing. Nose is fruity grapefruit and pine. Flavours of grapefruit, five alive, pine, mango. Taste medium bitter light sweet. Full sticky body with lively carbonation and lasting bitterness. Very drinkable.

Pours a very cloudy dark golden orange color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Decent retention, lingering for most of the pour. Streaks of soapy lacing are left clinging to the glass. slightly boozy aroma with sweet tropical/citrus hop notes countered by caramel and pale male backbone. Hints of pineapple, tart grapefruit and orange peel along with grassy pine resins and light crackery malt notes. Full bodied with a blast of dry bitterness that lingers over tropical sweetness and caramel malt backbone into slightly boozy finish. Sticky hop presence up front with grassy resins and pine sap countered mid palate by tropical/citrus sweetness and stronger malt presence than expected. Some pineapple, ruby red grapefruit and orange peel followed by caramel sweetness, bread and crackery malts. The malt presence is stronger than I prefer but this is a decent, well balanced beer that’s easy to drink. Was just expecting a but more from this collaboration.

Bottle. Pours a very hazy orange color with a modest white head that leaves behind sticky lacing as it recedes. Smells delicious. Aromas of citrus and ripe tropical fruit. A heavy bitterness... Really think there must have been more fruit up front while this bottle was fresher, especially given the aroma. As it is, the taste comes across as unbalanced. Medium+ bodied with a creamy/oily texture. Lower than average carbonation. Bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to clown! Poured into glass. Nose is super hoppy, lots of citrus with some pine. Lightly hazy dark yellow. Bottle conditioned. Small white head that laces well. Taste is like an assault on my tongue with hop resins and oils without being to aggressively bitter. Like chewing on a hop cone. Very green and leafy. Good but I would like more citrus and pine flavor, instead of obnoxious assault of oils and resin.
