Bottle. Pours a very hazy orange color with a modest white head that leaves behind sticky lacing as it recedes. Smells delicious. Aromas of citrus and ripe tropical fruit. A heavy bitterness... Really think there must have been more fruit up front while this bottle was fresher, especially given the aroma. As it is, the taste comes across as unbalanced. Medium+ bodied with a creamy/oily texture. Lower than average carbonation. Bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to clown! Poured into glass. Nose is super hoppy, lots of citrus with some pine. Lightly hazy dark yellow. Bottle conditioned. Small white head that laces well. Taste is like an assault on my tongue with hop resins and oils without being to aggressively bitter. Like chewing on a hop cone. Very green and leafy. Good but I would like more citrus and pine flavor, instead of obnoxious assault of oils and resin.

bottled - major hops in the aroma and flavor. Good floral notes. Super hoppy. Cloudy golden color. Did I mention the hops? Dare I say, a little too hoppy?

Bottle. Pours out a hazy copper/orange color with a fluffy off white head. Aroma is of juicy citrus, tangerine, some mild dank hops, some mild tropical fruit and light grainy malt. Taste is complex, really nice juicy citrus fruits, tropical fruit, dank hops, light herbal notes, a really solid punch of bitter juicy hops. Some mild malt notes for a slight balance but the hops are the star in this show. Abv is very well hidden. Impressive

Two great Vermont Brewers one great Double IPA. Juicy, yet dank, with a sturdy malt backbone that tries its damnedest to balance the hop wollop this thing packs.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped 09/15. Orange-amber pour with a moderate fading head. Hop haze. Lacing. Exploding aroma of grapefruit and tropical fruit with a touch of toasted biscuit. Medium body Lots of grapefruit flavors with a boisterous bitter ending.. It is like so many of those hopped up beers from Vermont and if you love those - you will love this one.

Bottle pour at powder keg beer and chili festival. Aroma is hay, grass, herbs, pine/spruce. Appearance is cloudy yellow pour with finger width white head and nice lacing, no sparkle. Taste is mild corn chip with strong hop character--pleasantly bitter. Palate is light bodied with slick/slippery/silky texture (nice), average carbonation with long, wet, bitter finish felt at the back teeth. Overall, pretty much what you’d expect with strong hops but good variety to aroma.
