Deep golden lightly hazy, thin fine ivory foam, resinous, piney, dank, medium full aroma, very citrusy, finishing lightly bitter. Light caramels are out of place. Bits of biscuit that I don’t really care for. Detracts from the hop character. Light pepper. Very nice though. Doesn’t taste like an 8 pointer.

12 oz bottle. Thanks Paul. No bottle date, but based on the ratings its 5-6 weeks old. Pine and woodsy hop aroma. Taste is slightly bitter, citrus and spruce hops. Hops taste a touch old, but to be expected over a month. Pretty good stuff.

Bottle - pour light amber w/ white frothy head. Piney, resin, spruce, and evergreen in the nose. grapefruit, orange, piney, and very bitter finish in the taste. It starts off very good, but the backend is too harsh to really enjoy.

12oz bought at otter creek brewery into a double dose offical glass, also from brewery, October 18th stop. Pours a fused amber orange with gold hues. Head is minimal, faint lacing, spotty and thin. Aroma is huge sticky hops, must be lawson there, very pungent, earthy, fresh acron citrus squash melon also. Taste is more sticky hops, fluid and floral, they bring a tangy hop blast to the tounge, love it. Otter brings the malt presence home, subtle, easy going and there. More room for the hop bomb. Very enjoyable, drinkable and fullfilling with the overall presence of the hop blast. Glad i was able to snag some of this while passing through to Burlington with the wife. Excellent. ,

Good beer, doesn’t live up to the hype. Buy a stone IPA instead. Pours a clear reddish orange with a slight white head. Aromas of mango pineapple tangerine and alcohol. Smells similar to Enjoy By. Taste is a tad on the harsh side. Syrupy.
