Small, tight, white head with very good retention and a lasting lace.Hazy, copper/gold hued ale. Resiny nose, grapefuit, manure and piny goodness. Body is med/full, chewy, low carbonation, oily on the palate. Big, juicy, citrus, grapefruity hop monster, resiny and a bit,,,dank, earthy fruity and juicy. Ends dry, fruity and with a balanced bite. Props to Robert of statelineliquors for the bottles.

12oz bottle as I sit outside on a brisk fall evening in DC. Can’t tell you how it looks, all I have is the bottle. Nice nose, pine, chive, tangerine, soap, orange, grapefruit. Flavor has plenty of citrus, orange, lemon, grapefruit, pine, soap, chive, honey, a little lemon cake icing. Full, bitter finish.

Total mind blower. This is wonderful. My first sentence is a slight exaggeration, but this is very good. ---AJ's Approval

Thanks Kevin! Dank hop freshness: piney, juicy, floral hops all up in this aroma.

Sweet, nearly caramelized initial malty character gets overrun by a stampede of piney hops. Juicy grapefruit appears momentarily as well before succumbing to the dankness. Intense hop bite leaves lingering bitterness after I swallow.

A bit too resinous for my personal preference, yet it's clearly impressively well-made. Demonstrates a high level of refinement only shown by the very best brewers in the style. Far better than any other Otter Creek IPA I've had; the Lawsons influence here isn't subtle. Good stuff!

Bottle scored at Tribecca Whole Foods for me by my wife. Nice citrus nose, grapefruit, orange, lemon skin. Lightly tropical as well. Dark, murky orange color, like nothng I have seen before, with lace. Malty base for sure, some caramel and chocolate even, with humongous hops. Big citrus, big bitterness, big malt and alcohol. Very nice, but, somehow it doesn’t really take me anywhere new. Too bitter, really. Quite boozy as well.

10/13/13. Bottle with big thanks to Lukaduke! Orange pour with a nice khaki head. Nice aroma, lots of juicy fruitiness, tropical, citrus, and bubblegum. Good flavor as well, piney, juicy fruits, tropical, citrus, more bubblegum, and a good dose of malt to back it up, both doughy and caramel, but not too much. Tasty!

Draft at Whole Foods PM. Pours hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose is tropical fruit, piney hops, mild yeasty spice. Tasted of mango, tangerine, with a dry hoppy finish. Solid.

A bit maltier than most IPA’s, which I like - it helps with balance and drinkability. Lots of citrus especially orange and grapefruit. Some spice flavors (coriander?). Medium bitterness. Very well-done.
