Bottle shared by mendvicdog. Thanks Pat. The beer is golden with a mild haze, sporting a small, broken head. The aroma offers dank hops, citrus, alcohol. Mild alcohol presence. Hop forward with a touch of pine resin. Light to medium in body. Very good.

Pours orange gold with a white head that clings. Aroma is mostly grapefruit and pine. Somewhat caramel malt backbone with loads of citrus and pine hop. Finish is oily, resin hop. Easy drinking for all the alcohol and hop present. It’s the same sort of experience as HT, but not quite as layered or fresh tasting.

Bottle form the Drinkery Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a huge frothy whit head that persists forever. Smells of pine and resin with hints of garlic and green onion and a faint bready crackery malt. Flavor is light alcohol with lots of resinous pine and dankness. Light bready malt is present but deep in the background hop bitterness is firm but never harsh. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Nice brew I’m glad that I was able to luck into a bottle.

12 oz. bottle, 4 pack from The Beer Store. Pours a light orange with a one finger ecru head. Head recedes quickly to a ring and leaves a smattering of lace. A plethora of aroma assaults the nose when sticking said nose into the glass. Grapefruit, pine resin, citrus and barely enough malt to keep it from going overboard. Flavor is quite bitter at first , but there again, there is just enough malt to impart a hint of sweetness. Full, oily, resinous palate with a lingering bitterness on the tongue. I would say this is in the same league as Heady Topper.

On tap @ Prohibition Pig. Hazy yellow/golden with a medium mostly lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma is of fresh hops, tropical fruits, light pine, light malt and fruits. Aroma is slightly sweet with tropical fruits, light malt, caramel (light) and a moderate bitter finish. Light body. Good carbonation. Dry finish. Alcohol is really well hidden. This is unbelievably drinkable for a DIPA! Super refreshing, clean and dry. Loved it!

From 10/4 notes. Pours hazy orange gold with small head, fades to a fine layer that lasts. Nose is big lemon, orange zest, tropical fruits, touch of warmth. Mouthfeel is smooth and malty. Taste is big citrus fruity tones, grapefruit, lemon juice, little bit of booze. Finish is bitter, lingering fruit notes, sticks around. Very good.

12 oz. bottle from Harvest wine and Liquor in West Hartford , CT. Pours a beautiful golden orange and hazy. Small head and a bit if lacing. Aroma is pine and citrus, including grapefruit, orange and pineapple. Strong hop presence on the nose. Taste is a hop wallop with strong bitterness, but not the unpleasant lingering kind. Good citrus fruit notes, spicy, piney, creamy smooth mouth feel. Glad I got a hold if one of these, from what I'm told there wasn't much if it made. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
