Poured dark amber, nice head which stuck around for a while......smelled like Anderson Valley’s Winter Solstice and tasted a bit like it, but not as sweet or flavorful. A good beer though and very enjoyable.

This is a good dark tasting ale. The aftertaste is alittle off but still good. I tried it on tap, and was not disapointed

Looks like a well made beer, tastes hoppy with a slight coffee flavor. This is a dark beer with not much carbonation. Very good with a warm fire after skiing.

We need to support our local beers. Good idea, but doesn’t blend well.Don’t know if it’s the hops or the yeast, but the combination isn’t great.

i can’t help but like this beer - i just found it in california for the first time after drinking it on some of the best days of my life on the east coast (phish tour). aroma of oranges. copper color with thin grey head. flavor of brown sugar, oranges, soap. sweet malt delivered in a medium body with relatively low carbonation and orange hops dancing about. somewhat unbalanced, lack of bitterness to complement the sweet beginnings. it is a lovely, drinkable winter beer, however.
i miss you, phish.

A light caramel color aroma which tates similar to pale ale. It’s a kind of beer skiers and snowboarders can enjoy. This stuff’s not for me.
