India Pils Lager
Our spring seasonal offering brewed with 100 percent positive vibrations and single-hopped with Citra hops. The presence of the Citra hop is elevated by a clean fermenting lager yeast that allows the subtle Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts to lay a crisp, bready foundation. The citrus and tropical fruit character of the Citra hop comes from kettle additions followed by a huge dose of Ďem again in the fermenter.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. It pours a cloudy pale yellow to golden yellow with a tremendous white puffy head that takes forever to settle down. Lacing galore. Floral, pine hops explode in the aroma even before my nose touches the glass. Also some toasted biscuit and muted sweetness running a distant second. Almost medium body but smooth. How about them citra hops? You like floral bitterness in your beer you will be entranced by the taste. Lingers.

Draft at blue monk. Another solid offering from otter creek. Golden straw, medium to fuller body. Citrusy bitterness, straw and grass. Nice mouthfeel, active. Great flavor, well done

12oz bottle pours a hazy, straw yellow with lots of frothy white head. Nose is awesome, bright lemon peel lemon juice, very grassy, straw, some lime, lots of dank hop pellet. Flavor is strong too, more orange than lemon this time around, grassy, lime, zesty, chive, mild sweetness. Crisp, grassy finish. Really drinkable. Wow, really nice.

Bottle from Bertís Pours a slightly hazy medium straw color with a huge tightly bubbled bone white head that persists forever being constantly fed buy a stream of carb bubbles. Aromas of floral, pine, grass, citrus, and a hint of sulfur atop a light bready pilsner malt base. The flavor is very light crackery malt with a fair amount of spicy earthy citrusy hops. Hop bitterness is quite present as there is little in the way of malt body to counter it. Light body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Smells pretty damn good, tastes ok but really needs a hint more body for my tastes.

Pours a soft and pale straw blonde with two fingers of crackling white head. Nose shows an intense hop profile dominated by citrus and ídankí notes with a grassy background. A light malt sweetness balances things out. Very dry and grassy flavor with a touch more bitterness than Iíd like. A green astringency develops and lasts a bit more than Iíd like.

Aroma is citrus (grapefruit) hops and pine. Appearance: Yellow, cloudy color with a small, sudsy white head that laced nicely all around the glass. Taste is acidic with grapefruit hops up front and piney on the end. Light to medium bodied that was more oily than watery. Overall its one of my new favorites!

If you drank the piss straight from the cat it would taste and smell just like this. +++ Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a vibrant yellow-golden color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was very strong cat piss, pine and more cat piss. The flavor was very strong cat piss, pine, pepper and more cat piss. Long cat piss finish. medium body. Amazingly foul!

Nice hints of citrus, though not tart or sweet. Punchy, some yeast and a balanced hops-centric finish. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Pale yellow straw color. Big rocky white head. Large bubbles. Straight citra aroma of pineapple and tropical fruit. Touches of dry biscuity malt. Flavor is a total citra bomb. Grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, hay. Malt is dry and just a bit toasty. It's not so much the beer, it's the citra hops, THEY'RE good. Even so, Otter Creek has done a nice job highlighting them. Bitterness is actually slightly strong for the style. It could be dialed back, but it does make it damn refreshing. Awesome beer.

Bottled February 3, 2014.
Appearance: The body is a beautifully vibrant golden-orange hue with a cloudiness, almost resembling orange juice! The white head is tall, dense, and pillowy looked. I would take a nap on it if I could! The retention is excellent as well.
Aroma: Big citra hop profile, semi-mango semi-orange juice, lots of characteristics here. Slight whiff of sulfur and a mild grassy aroma as well. The malts are slightly present, but this mostly shows off the hops.
Taste: Like the aroma this is almost fully citra hops in the flavor. I get light malt sweetness, but overlying that is a big bitter orange and hints of mango. The bitterness is on par with a pale ale, but this drinks a bit cleaner.
Palate: Crisp and sharply carbonated.
Overall: What a remarkably well done IPL, one of the best Iíve had actually. This is an easy drinking beer with a huge hop profile that Iíd love to have during a warm day. Itís a shame it wonít be around much longer. Iíll be buying this next year for sure.
