4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale yellow straw color. Big rocky white head. Large bubbles. Straight citra aroma of pineapple and tropical fruit. Touches of dry biscuity malt. Flavor is a total citra bomb. Grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, hay. Malt is dry and just a bit toasty. It's not so much the beer, it's the citra hops, THEY'RE good. Even so, Otter Creek has done a nice job highlighting them. Bitterness is actually slightly strong for the style. It could be dialed back, but it does make it damn refreshing. Awesome beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled February 3, 2014.
Appearance: The body is a beautifully vibrant golden-orange hue with a cloudiness, almost resembling orange juice! The white head is tall, dense, and pillowy looked. I would take a nap on it if I could! The retention is excellent as well.
Aroma: Big citra hop profile, semi-mango semi-orange juice, lots of characteristics here. Slight whiff of sulfur and a mild grassy aroma as well. The malts are slightly present, but this mostly shows off the hops.
Taste: Like the aroma this is almost fully citra hops in the flavor. I get light malt sweetness, but overlying that is a big bitter orange and hints of mango. The bitterness is on par with a pale ale, but this drinks a bit cleaner.
Palate: Crisp and sharply carbonated.
Overall: What a remarkably well done IPL, one of the best I’ve had actually. This is an easy drinking beer with a huge hop profile that I’d love to have during a warm day. It’s a shame it won’t be around much longer. I’ll be buying this next year for sure.

Pours a clear gold with a medium white head...nice lacing and retention...lively. aroma has light maltiness with fresh leafy hops...grass, hoppy spice, lemon, mango and citrus rind...very floral. Mouthfeel is light/medium and the finish is dry with solid grassy/spicy bitterness. Very fresh and green.

12oz bottle thanks to Luakduke! Pours cloudy pale straw with a finger of head. Nose is subtle soft citrus and cereal grain. Taste is sourdough bread, lime, cereal, and grains. Finish is malty cereal with some citrus and lime. Ok, kind of weird.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow/light amber with a finger of white foam and nice lacing. Nose is cereal grains and spice with some dank hops and faint syrupy mango on the finish. Taste is clean cereal grains. mango, light spice, and a nice level of bitterness. Lots of flavor while remaining crisp and clean. Such a good beer and on the same level as Jack’s Abby’s hoppy lager material. Very impressed with Otter’s latest releases.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle from Scott. Poured a super cold hazed pale straw body with a bubbly average sized white head. Aroma is spicey, lots of rye bread, citrus, grains and lemon zest. Medium body with average carbonation and a slightly creamy finish. Flavor is similar to the aroma, lots of spice and rye, bread and toast, grains, citrus. Pretty good stuff here. Otter Creek keeps stepping up their game which is awesome to see.

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Thanks to ThirstyBird for this one!
Pale golden colour, nice white head. The beer starts as flowery-hoppy and fresh as the nose appears. Very nice typical citra-flavours - fresh green and grassy hops, nice hints of lemon. Ab very dry and very hop-based beer with a mild and nice bitterness. I like especially that there is nearly no sweetness or maltiness that could coincide and "harm" the great hop characteristics! The aftertaste is long, hoppy-intense, smooth, bloomy-flowery with a great citrus-fresh aftertaste that lasts long on the tongue.
Better can’t even be an IPA - a really great hoppy beer! --> 15/13/14/15

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Nose is beautiful Citra, lemon and pine with heavy crinkling Simcoe paper, some caramel bite and really awesome pithy/resinous character. Pours clear but rich sunny yellow and supports a dense, rocky bright white head, lots of lace. Taste is clear, medium-strong bitter with low astringency and a really nice whack of resin, woody and a little sticky with crisp carbonation and a somewhat bready resolution. I’d have called this dry, as the hops are very cleansing, but the fruitiness is strong and yanks the sweetness up in spurts and jerks. Earthy without dipping into caramel-land and very grassy. The fierce hop aftertaste is just awesome. A little too much booze showing, sort of an off-the-cuff lager, but the hops are wonderfully fresh and more than compensate. Medium body, refreshing, enjoyed this one a lot! And will be buying a sixer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours out a hazy light lemon yellow. Thin white lacy head. Aroma of flowers and citrus. Flavor and body are on the lighter side, but with plenty of grapefruit-rind bitterness. Lingering bitter finish. So glad they are selling this in 12 packs! A great anytime brew!
