India Pils Lager
Our spring seasonal offering brewed with 100 percent positive vibrations and single-hopped with Citra hops. The presence of the Citra hop is elevated by a clean fermenting lager yeast that allows the subtle Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts to lay a crisp, bready foundation. The citrus and tropical fruit character of the Citra hop comes from kettle additions followed by a huge dose of ‘em again in the fermenter.

Bottle. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a rocky white head. Aroma of pale malts, citrus, grass and had notes of pine. Flavor of pale malts, lemongrass, citrus, grains, grapefruit and had a nice bitterness with a crisp dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a frothy bright white head that faded slowly. The nose is big and citrusy with lots of catty citra notes. Some light pale bready maltiness. The flavor is light on the malt, letting the hops do all the talking. Bright and delicate with lots of citra that lingers nicely. Light bodied and easy drinking with fizzy carbonation. Decent beer.

Agrumes empêtrés dans un pain de levure, céréales craquants, blé et verdure chatouillant le palais. Le corps est entre croustillant et moelleux, fort agréable.

Bottle. Glowing hazy gold/orange with a huge rocky white head. Aroma is intensely bitter and resinous with a citrus backbone. Citrus moves to the forefront in the taste, adding a generous portion of orange rind and sweet malt. Really soft fluffy mouthfeel with light carb. This is really enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Hazy yellow with a nice white head. Lovely hoppy aroma full of tropical fruits, citrus and a bit of grass. Flavor has light graininess, a sweetish note, fruity hops and nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Very good and refreshing.

Bottle into a glass. Pours a hazy yellow with a big white head. Tropical fruits from the citra hops in the aroma. Light mouthfeel. Great fruity flavor cut with bitterness at the end, with the yeast from Otter Creek keeping it unfiltered. A good take on a bigger pilsner.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker glass (with swirling). Hazy yellow with a decent steady white head. Fresh nose - grass after rain, citrus peels, light malt, flowers, faint spice. Bready maltiness, juicy citrus flavors, med-hi bitterness, grains. Light-medium body, dry, effervescent, quenching, easy to drink and fun.
