India Pils Lager
Our spring seasonal offering brewed with 100 percent positive vibrations and single-hopped with Citra hops. The presence of the Citra hop is elevated by a clean fermenting lager yeast that allows the subtle Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts to lay a crisp, bready foundation. The citrus and tropical fruit character of the Citra hop comes from kettle additions followed by a huge dose of ‘em again in the fermenter.

Bottle into a glass. Pours a hazy yellow with a big white head. Tropical fruits from the citra hops in the aroma. Light mouthfeel. Great fruity flavor cut with bitterness at the end, with the yeast from Otter Creek keeping it unfiltered. A good take on a bigger pilsner.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker glass (with swirling). Hazy yellow with a decent steady white head. Fresh nose - grass after rain, citrus peels, light malt, flowers, faint spice. Bready maltiness, juicy citrus flavors, med-hi bitterness, grains. Light-medium body, dry, effervescent, quenching, easy to drink and fun.

Bottle poured a hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw, lemon zest, earthiness, dank bud and grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, lemon zest and light grapefruit with a crisp dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

At holly wood gardens, nice place. Except for the aroma, this comes across more like an IPA than a lager. Looks like a pale lager tho.

12oz bottle from Orchard Fresh, Orchard Park, NY. Hazy pale amber with a creamy white head; citrusy aroma with some hints of lemongrass; grapefruit taste and a creamy body; and a fresh finish. Rather good.

Yes there is a bit of a citrus thing going here. A bit hazy, nice appearance, medium yellow, decent head. Palate is mellow, the hops come through, but in an unabrasive manner. Decent.

Pours a hazy, pale golden with plenty of fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is pale malt, citrus, lemon pith and some grass. Taste follows the nose with some nice bitter citrus (lemon) notes and a crisp and dry finish. This would be perfect on a hot, summer day.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 4/13/14

Aroma: The aroma is citrus hops, clean pale malts, fresh and tangy, with some light pepper notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy, bright, golden-orange color with a thick, frothy, lasting, white head
Flavor: Taste-wise, it has some light sweetness, and a nice, tangy, citrus hop bitterness
Palate: This one drinks nicely, smooth feel, average-plus carbonation, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: Shockingly good. First off, not many beers have a nicer looking pour, and from there it stays great. This is a really, really nice beer. I had no expectations for this one, but I really enjoyed it.
