India Pils Lager
Our spring seasonal offering brewed with 100 percent positive vibrations and single-hopped with Citra hops. The presence of the Citra hop is elevated by a clean fermenting lager yeast that allows the subtle Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts to lay a crisp, bready foundation. The citrus and tropical fruit character of the Citra hop comes from kettle additions followed by a huge dose of ‘em again in the fermenter.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 4/13/14

Aroma: The aroma is citrus hops, clean pale malts, fresh and tangy, with some light pepper notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy, bright, golden-orange color with a thick, frothy, lasting, white head
Flavor: Taste-wise, it has some light sweetness, and a nice, tangy, citrus hop bitterness
Palate: This one drinks nicely, smooth feel, average-plus carbonation, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: Shockingly good. First off, not many beers have a nicer looking pour, and from there it stays great. This is a really, really nice beer. I had no expectations for this one, but I really enjoyed it.

Bottled 02/03/14. Pour has a light golden color and a thin coating of white head that retained a pillow on the surface. Aroma has mild citrus, light pilsner malt, grapefruit touches, and some bitterness. Mouth feel is medium light and the carbonation is good. Flavor again has a bit more bitterness than anticipated, pilsner malt, citrus, and the hops leading the beer overall.

On tap at Brunzies. Fresh fruity-floral aroma; very nice. Medium golden clear with thin white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with nice pale malt sweetness. Big hop flavor throughout with apricot and pear; resin. Bitter finish and after with some carbonic acidity, lingering clean sweetness.

Bottle, much thanks to Scott. Pours out a somewhat cloudy golden color with a decent amount of carbonation and a small off white head. Aroma is of citrus peel, doughy bread, grass and some cereal notes. Taste is citrus hops, grass, dough, grains, cereal, some bitter notes lingering around on the finish. Not bad.

Looks unfiltered - cloudy for a pils. Smells straight up like weed. Fortunately it tastes less like weed and more like a great thirst-quenching pils. Finishes dry leaving you wanting more.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Dank piney and grassy hops, clean malty base, moderate bitterness, and a crisp hoppy finish. Looks like the ratings for this one are all over... maybe bottle inconsistency? Anyway, I loved it; a great summer chugger.

Logged in from untappd - glad i tried it as it has a really cool name but it is a lager and its hard to make a great lager.

Straw-orange body, medium sized white head, soapy lacing. Orange zest, grapefruit, other citrus notes. Light grainy quality comes through in the flavor. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, a bit thin in the finish.

Draft at Ginger Man with Andrew, Brendan and Ricky. Thank christ Andrew let me try his because this would’ve been difficult to finish on my own. Pours a nice orange amber body with thick white head and medium lacing. Aroma is grain, ash and light skunky malts. Mouthfeel is not horrible - nice on the palate actually, but the flavors coming through are tough to take; notes of grain, bitter grapefruit, skunky hop, sweet crackery malts and light ashy character.
