tbookman (618), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 19, 2001 Nice hoppy bite with a clean dry finish. As the name says, it’s got a clear copper with a light hop aroma. Very nice!!
scottw86 (117), New York, USA Oct 10, 2008 Amber body with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and nutty. Taste is sweet with a nutty/earthy feel to it. A good amount of hops as well. I am impressed! KnutAlbert (2322), Oslo, Norway Oct 8, 2008 On tap at Rattle ’n’ Hum, NYC.
It’s an alt, and very true to style. Sweetish, a bit yeasty. Not interesting at all, a beer type that does not make for superlatives. PorterPounder (2852), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Sep 28, 2008 Jacksonville, Fl. - Total Wine - 12 oz bottle. Pours a medium copper with a tight white head. Malty, sweet aroma with some subtle citrus notes. Little bit of house taste funkiness that all Otter Creek’s seem to have. some caramel, muted citrus and a hint of bitterness. Decently thick mouthfeel with a bit too much carbonation though. Maverick34 (481), New York, USA Sep 19, 2008 Draft@ Rattle & hum. This is somehow billed as an Altbier but it isn’t, it’s a weak IPA. Metalllic etc. mwelsh13 (193), Maryland, USA Sep 8, 2008 Orange color with a frothy white head. A bit sweet with no real aroma other than some caramel. Some burnt toffee flavors and possible stale flavors. Metallic flavors very prevalant.
