COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Otter Creek Brewing has brewed up a little something new just for spring. Releasing late January, the new ESB will be out just in time for the onset of cabin fever. Otter Creek's Extra Special Bitter has heady hop aromas and a rich maltiness to provide balance and full delicious flavor. A perfectly refreshing amber ale. Look for green 6 pks and 12 pks. Also available on draft.

Amber, clear, malty nose, a bit of hops, flavor is lightly malty, slightly metallic bitterness, overly unpleasant. Not great.

Light pleasant nose, gold-amber color, sticky head. Honey malt, spicy end. Medium body, crisp texture. OK beer. Not much ESB-like, but that’s OK with this one.

Nice amber color. Poured with a thin beige head. Appropriate hoppy smell with notes of pine. Thick mouth feel with nice carbonation. Dry finish with a dissappointing aftertaste that leaves an oily feel in the mouth. Not great, I don’t know what I’m going to do with the other 5 (Yes I do).

Bottle. Dark amber pour with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Average sweet hoppy aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced malt and hop flavor with a moderate hoppy bitter finish.

Malty, but otherwise balanced beer. Spicy, earthy, and butter. Otter Creek never knock my socks off, but they make good balanced beers.

Reddish, dark tan. Crystal clear, minimal head. English hops in the nose. Spice, very inviting. Puckering bitterness, smooth finish. Medium body. Earthy notes. Prety good american ESB.

Bottle. Pours a deep reddish brown. Very bitter without all that much flavor. Some malt and fruit, but not enough to compensate for the bitterness. It was ragged not like other smoother ESB’s I have had in the past. I like Otter Creek offerings so this was a disappointment.

A terribly bland beer. No true hoppiness, but a slight bitterness. Pours with a small head, nice floral aromas, and a decent translucent amber body. It receives low marks on flavor and a somewhat viscous mouthfeel...
