A big, unfiltered American IPA built to accompany the big Eastern Winter. Just like an epic bluebird day follows a snow storm, a peppery build from the Rye-malt accompanies glorious hop notes of pine, citrus and fresh grass.

The bold Rye-malt backbone warms the soul, whether after a long day on the slopes with your buds, or just sitting in front of the fireplace at home.

At 60 IBUs, Kind Ryed uses a combination of Apollo, Simcoe, Chinook and Centennial hops to create a drinkable brew that wonít wipe out your tastebuds. The new look bottle label and packaging artwork goes out-of- bounds and embraces the freeriding spirit of our Brewmaster, Mike Gerhart. Itís his bus that adorns the label and his recipe that fills the bottles. Hop on the bus and take a Kind Ryed with us.

Bottle to a glass mug. Pours a cloudy yellow with a yellowish head. Great nose of citrus hops. Has a nice citrus hop flavor, not too overpowering. The rye adds an earthy flavor. Pretty good.

Pours a hazy amber with a medium off-white head. Lots of particulates in this unfiltered beer. Aroma is a piney hoppiness. Unlike others I canít discern a clear rye component, no peppery flavor. Itís a fine IPA.

Golden color and pesty white lace. A really pleasant and energetic IPA. Pine and grassy hop. Some tangy citrus stickiness. Quite bitter. Really balanced. Hops are king here. Simcoe, apollo, centennial.

Nice hoppy notes on the nose. Piney flavors on first taste with more hops and the rye malts come in on the back end. Finishes really piney on the palate, with a nice finish from the chinook hops.

Pours copper with a medium white head. Aroma is resin, citrus, earthy and floral...lots of hops. Taste is bittersweet. Medium bodied with good carbonation for a crisp finish.

Brown amber color with big white head. Resinous pine aroma. Slightly creamy rye malt flavors with piney malty flavors. Hop bitter is nice balanced. Finish is pine again. As advertised: rye IPA. Tasty beverage.

355 mL bottle. Hazy orange brown with a ring of white head. Not much to look at. All hops in the aroma - mostly pine, with a little semi-sweet citrus underneath. Pretty much hop juice, with resiny, fresh hops overwhelming the malt. Nice bitterness level. Good beer.

Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head......aroma of grapefruit.....taste is near all grapefruit, the rye spice has trouble peeking through but does in the middle, then bitter to earth notes which donít go away. Odd balance, maybe out of balance.

Bottle. Light gold, cloudy, suspended floaters. Tall foamy white head, strong floral hop aroma, medium body. Very good.
