| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2007 Pours copper and clear with a medium sized beige head. The aroma has a moderate amount of hops and very lightly toasted mlat with some plasticy aspects. Medium body with a nice graininess with fairly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with pleasant toasted malt with some grapefruit hops and some woodiness. The finish has more hops that are spicy along with the other hop traits. A nice enjoyable APA. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2007 This is a solid pale ale. Doesn’t blow me out of the water but has a well rounded taste. Some citrus on the front end, moderate carbonation, and a hoppy bitter toward the end. Just the right amount of bitter in my opinion. The brief citrus and crisp end make it a refreshing brew. I like my ale a little more dynamic but this is a solid beer, for sure. TomDecapolis (3150), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Pours a translucent golden amber with a medium foamy off white head that left some nice lacing. Aroma of fresh sun tea, light malty sweetness, grains and bready with just hints of citrus. Flavor is at first a bit vegetal and metallic. As that cleared up I was getting hints of caramel, some biscuit and slight hop flavor and bitterness.
