Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Aug 20, 2005 Inticing orange-yellow with a creamy head. Decent floral hop aroma. After the nice invitation, the flavor is a tad disappointing ... but not too bad. Light pine-based tones with a bitter orange finish. Good enough. barleyPops (1079), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA Aug 11, 2005 bottle via Lou. nose of citrus & pine. appearance is orangey-gold with a fast fading head. not a lot here as far as flavor goes, just more citrus & pine notes. no reason to reach for this one again. next Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jul 18, 2005 Amber color with a thin head and good lacing. Hoppy aroma with a lot of citrus. Very tasty beer with lots of hops. Great session beer. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Jul 10, 2005 Pour is a nice orange with no real head. Nice aroma of hops are the first thing you nothing. Flavor is a mix of hops and a certain spice i can’t name but can detect. Very tasty and pleasing to all the sences. Very refreshing and a good example of the style. Firemoose15 (540), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 6, 2005 Out of a bottle, aroma was metallic and hoppy, citrus and pine. Poured a clean copper nice white head. Flavor was okay hoppy and slight apple. Palate was okay too nothing special a tinge of bitterness in the finish. Overall I’d say just okay. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 6, 2005 pours amber with a small off white head, good smell of fruits, good taste, good little kick for 4.6% alcohol, decent body, not to thin, very drinkable. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA Jul 2, 2005 Poured dark golden with a creamy white head. Very good head retention. Aroma had apple, courant, citrus, graitfruit and pine. Taste was very pleasant with the apple and being strong tt first and then the citrus and graitfruit coming through. The only drawback was a bit of a coppery taste in the beginning. I liked this and think it should be rated higher. gearbike (413), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Jun 10, 2005 Pours kind of flat like a typical pale ale. Taste is very plain but a bitter aftertaste makes this a below average craft pale ale.
