Body of the ale is a clear dark golden amber with a quickly diminishing white head. Very nice hops aroma, flowery and delicate, with strong notes of wood and pine. Strong bitterness, with medium to light mouthfeel. This is a dry pale ale without much sweetness. I am pleased with the moderate level of hoppiness in this brew and feel it is not overpowering. This is quite fitting with the style, and was not disappointed. dyetube (404), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 10, 2008 This beer pours a light amber with a thin white head. the aroma is grass and hops. Lot’s of great hops in the flavor as well. Although there are a little too astringent , I really liked this brew. Cheers! blipp (1641), Newark, New Jersey, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2008 Pours a frost-hazed, golden/amber with minimal carbonation under a low, creamy, non-lasting head. Pale malt aroma with low floral hopping and a grassiness that rings more of Saaz than Cascade. It’s through it’s flavor and body where this beer finally shines. Mid-bodied with a sharp, spicy lift. Rindy, peppery flavor with nice grapefruit edges. Long-lasting finish. Heavier PNW aroma-hopping and this would be golden.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 3, 2008 BOTTLE: golen color with whitish head fastly dissipates, light hop aroma. Medium bitterness, medum body. Long aftertaste that doesn’t want to die and detracs from the flavor. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours with a golden color. Nice aromas of hops and citrus and grapefrut. Pretty intense flavors for an APA. Very aggressively hopped, but very clean. Not flowery but rather very grapefruit like bitter. A good food beer though. MrRain (427), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2008 12oz bottle poured in a mug. OCPA pours dark bronze with a persistent small head. The nose is malt, malt and a touch or malt with some grapefruit hops. The body is brutal! It’s dry and hoppy and clinches your throat closed like a fistfull of sand. I give an extra point to the palate because of this. The flavor is basically what you’d expect from a hoppy APA. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pours a slightly fogged amber gold. Nose is a very faint orange pine. Flavor is slight hops and a mild bitter edge that has some sugar sweet on it too. Feel is a bit gentle on the bubble and smooth on liquid. Fairly drinkable. Though the bitter tone could be taken down a bit I think. Decent enough.
