COul use a little more hops, but has a nice smell and a tangy orange taste to it. craftbeerdesign (772), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours with a golden color. Nice aromas of hops and citrus and grapefrut. Pretty intense flavors for an APA. Very aggressively hopped, but very clean. Not flowery but rather very grapefruit like bitter. A good food beer though. jayme9874 (756), Hamburg, New York, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jun 16, 2003 Updated: Jul 17, 2003Rerate: dropping palate/overall by a point due to the mildly harsh mouthfeel: A solid but unexceptional APA. Mildly fruity aroma. Nice malt up front with solid cascade presence throughout. Slightly harsh in the mouth. Surprisingly pricey at my local. thenick (746), North Bellmore, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 13, 2008 Pours a deep golden amber with a medium but quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma is floral hop with malt and pine hop notes detectable as well. Taste is straight hop with a decent floral hop aftertaste. It’s not very complex, and the hop flavor is not nearly as strong as the flavor suggests. Solid, but nothing special. lamas (737), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 12, 2005 Bottle. Bottled on 01/06/05. Pours a light orange color with thin off-white head. Aroma is of berries, citrus fruit and pretty strongly of hops. Taste is fairly balanced. Some sweet malts lead to a bitter citrusy hoppy finish. A little dry in the finish. Nice average body. Not a bad pale ale but definitely not one of the better ones.
