Very smooth, just a tiny bit of bite at the end, but not a lot on the nose or middle taste. Above average, very drinkable; worth getting on sale, but no Sierra Nevada (what is?) thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2004 This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of fine to large sized off-white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was a softly carbonated transparent orange light brown color. The aroma was a nice malty hoppy pale ale one. The mouth feel was initially tingly and hoppy then settled down into a more mild hop bite. A light bitterness in the mouth and a medium hop bite make this a good pale ale for those not wanting a brew that is too hoppy. ivan9856 (131), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2005 Decanting from the 12 oz. bottle reveals a golden, light amber body with a large off-white head; good lacing. A hefty and bold floral hop aroma also reveals some citrus.
The initial smooth malty sweetness gives way to grapefruit and spice in the mid-palate, and is quickly followed by a drying but mild hop finish with a short-lived aftertaste. This is a medium-bodied ale with good carbonation. jzzbassman (857), New Albany, Mississippi, USA

Like that one, it had somewhat of a rotten egg aroma, although not as pronounced. Finished clean, looked nice, and definitely had that oily Cascades bite. Went really well with my pizza. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 17, 2004 Updated: Mar 16, 2005Definite cascade hops are in the aroma, and the beer pours a light and clear copper. This beer is a bit too thin bodied, but the initial hops are tasty and pleasantly bitter with light piney fruitiness. There’s not much more than the hops however...This is a good beer, but its not so great for the style. jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2004 Bottle. Amber color with a small white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Flavor is mostly hops, pine and grapefruit.
Some sweet maltiness in the background. Tmoney99 (4810), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2007 Bottle. Poured dark amber with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly and produced fair lacing. Moderate hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium hoppy bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of average duration. Good drinkable brew. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Medium honey body with a medium ring of bubbles and a thin patch film of bubbles. Nose-perfuney, cereal, stale hops. Taste-medium bitter, light hops, crisp, corn flakes, straw, smooth hops, and slightly metallic. Tastes like an IPA with some pale ale notes thrown in as an afetr thought. Not a bad beer, but not one I would go out of my way to find.
