Commercial Description:
A refreshing, golden amber brew, with Cascade hops from the Yakima Valley. Adding Cascades during conditioning captures the rich aroma of the hop, and completes the clean, well-balanced flavor of our American pale ale. Crisp, refreshing and exotically aromatic.

This is hoppier than most pale ales - it’s almost in IPA territory. But that’s just fine by me. Cascade hops dominate the flavor while subtle caramel malt notes linger in the background. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

Bottled. Poured with a nice off white head and amber colored body. Nicely hopped pale ale that I think has become one of my favorites. The sweetness compliments the hop bitterness very well.

RE-RATE: Tried this again, this time out of the bottle, and it was quite nice. Brisk hop flavor, nice feel and finish.

fairly clear light copper color with a nice thick frothy white head. aroma is quite strong on pine with a little hidden citrus quality. flavor is nicely bitter with a good backbone of malt. if they made Hop Devil Light, this would be it...they share similar characteristics with the good core of malts and sharp bitterness...it's just that the otter creek is quite thin compared to Hop Devil, still pretty damn good, surprisingly so.

Citrusy aromas of lemon and grapefruit. A little darker than typical pale ales. Nice, hoppy bite that compliments the citrus flavors. Crisp, clean finish.

Pour is a nice orange with no real head. Nice aroma of hops are the first thing you nothing. Flavor is a mix of hops and a certain spice i can’t name but can detect. Very tasty and pleasing to all the sences. Very refreshing and a good example of the style.

Single bottle from Total Wine. Pours a nice amber color with a light white head. Aroma is hoppy with a touch of malt. Taste is crips, a little citrus. Nice pale ale.
