Pours brown with a light brown head. Smells of pepper, roasted malt. Tastes peppery with some roasted malt and chocolate hints. Decent but not true to style.

Cherrywood/dark wood red-tinted brown, almost opaque but does catch light. Small, light barely there tan head. Rich coffee nose with chocolate, cocoa bean, some chalk, some soy. Really chocolately and coffee flavors. Silky mouthfeel. Nice, smooth, and creamy.

Bomber courtesy of far333 – thanks Frank! Pours black with mahogany hues and a one finger beige head that fades into a ring but still leaves spotty lacing. The nose is brownies and roasted malt. The taste is milk chocolate, cocoa and lactose with some roasty malts in the finish. Medium creamy mouthfeel. Decent porter.

Bottle (22oz). Very deep ruby pour, clear, but dark enough to be hard to see through - large lasting foamy-creamy tan head (4-). Quite light aroma, not much alcohol on the nose, leafy and dry, with dry coffee roast and quite a dairy barn smell hovering around it. The taste follows, not as lactic, dry yeast still very roast caramel sweet, nice dry bitter aftertaste. Quite a light body, weakly carbonated, the malt body fades quickly and leaves a generic dry roast and only a hint of alcohol .... quite easy to drink, but a little vague.

22oz. Dark cherry, coffee colored pour with an oily head. Roasted malt and raisins all over the nose. Plums and raisins in the flavor - light cocoa, some smoke. Somewhat light on the palate. Maybe a bit to fruity.

Bottle from 46er3428. Strong dark chocolate in the aromas. SOme roasted malts and a little dark bread too. Dark brown pour with almost no head. Flavors of dark chocolate and roast. Rather robust. Some bready malts make an appearance. Some lingering dry roast. The beer is lager like and clean all things considered.

This is a good Baltic porter for me because I don’t like the thick and chewy mouthfeel of most and this is a lot thinner. That may be bad for those who love the style, though. Aroma was nice. Strong chocolate, roasted malt and some nuts. Pour was a nice near black with a 2 finger tan head that left before I sat back down. Taste was a thin, chocolaty and strong on the roastiness. Bitter roasted malt in the aftertaste that as it warms actually gets a little sweeter.

Bottle. Pours a deep brown almost opaque. Aroma is roasted malts and sweet sugars. The taste is similar to the aroma but more pronounced. The sugariness is more intense, The beer was a little thin but still strong.

Bomber. Poured muddy medium brown with no head sticking around. The aroma picked up semi-sweet chocolate and caramel with some spicy accents and light peppery alcohol.. on the simple side, but well done. The flavor found caramel, chocolate, and cola sweetness at the core with herbal and lesser coffee bitterness around.. finished sweet with light roast and a hint of tangy warmth. Medium-bodied on the palate and it could’ve used a bit more carbonation.. spicy and engaging on the back. Solid, but unspectacular brew.
