FROTHINGSLOSH (4785) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-copper color with a small foamy tan head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet caramel and light vegetal malts. The flavor was sour, tangy and vegetal with notes of caramel and dark fruits. Medium caramel and fruit finish. Moderately full bodied. Eh.

Pours a cloudy amber gold with one finger of sandy tan head. The aroma is vegetal and bready. with an herbal and musty hop character. God awful flavor. Tastes like cat food (dry cat food), stale bread, and astringent tea leaves. Can’t go on.

Drake (8030) - Free Union, Virginia, USA - SEP 12, 2012
12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a slight hazy bronze color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and faint hops. The taste is toasted malts, citrus hops. Medium bodied. Decent.

kramer (4858) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded pretty quickly. The nose is slightly sweet with some soggy grains and just a light hint of hops. Flavor wise it’s a bit bland, some slight honey and bready malt sweetness without much backing from hops. Slightly sticky and lingering on the finish. It lacks any sense of crispness or heft to the body. Not terrible, but not something I’d ever seek out again.

Bottle. Orange golden color, hazy, medium-thin off-white head. Aroma of grass, earthy, berries. Mild sweet taste. Light body, somewhat sticky texture, ave. carbonation, bitter hop finish. Overall decent easy drinking ale.

beerscout (298) - New Windsor, New York, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Bottle. Copper color with foamy white head. Hop aroma mixed with bitter malts, a bit fruity and grassy in the nose. Palate was heavy in hops and some malts of a grainy and biscuit flavor. Clean bitter finish.

Bottle from total wine sterling. Pours light brown with half an inch of khaki foam. A bit of citrus on the nose. Fairly malty and a bit sweet on the tongue. Finishes with a slight bitterness. Solid.

Malty, fruity brew fairly watered down taste as come to be expected from most otter creek. Crisp and easy to throw back though.

Old malt aroma. Hazy orange color with a medium tan head. Sweet light beginning with mild bitter finish. Lightish palate.

Flavor is mostly malt; I didn’t pick up any hops; has a hint of some grass or something herbal, but it doesn’t stand out. Overall, not a bad beer, but not really good either.
