A classic European style lager. We take the time to brew this beer as a true lager should be brewed. And it’s well worth the wait! You can enjoy the drinkability of this light-gold, refreshing beer with friends at the pub or at home after a long day. OG: 1048

An ok beer. better than the other crap-ola lagers i've had tonight, but still not worth drinking again. the light spiciness in the taste was pretty ok.

Comes in the obligatory 12 oz brown bottle..simple label. Nice appearance for this lager golden yellow with a small but persistant pure white head..nice lacing. I loved the aroma of this lager..one of the best of its class..nice spicy hoppiness..more than balanced by a a yummy toffee malt aroma..beautiful . this is a full flavoured malty style lager..no pilsner here..and i love it the full sweetness of the malt is replaced eventually by a nice residual hop bitterness. Very nice creamy smooth feeling on the tongue.

Rather crisp and slightly bitter for a lager. Ample use of hops, like other Otter Creek brews. The head fades pretty fast. More of a pilsner than a lager, due to its sharpness.

Pours a lightly cloudy golden in color, with a medium sized white head, mostly diminishes, leaving a fine film of lace. Aroma is loaded with biscuit malt, backed up with a good herbal hop presence. Flavor is pretty much the same, with a bit more of the hops noticed on the tongue. Medium body, very crisp and clean, semi-dry finish. A very nice lager.

Pours with a pale yellow body topped by a white lasting head with good lacing. Woody hop aroma well balanced with malt. Woody hop flavor wtih malty accents and notes of sweet fruitiness. Light bodied and smooth. This is a good lager that I would enjoy having on a hot summer day.

Deep, clear, light golden lager. Large, frothy, off-white head. Gone in a flash. The aroma is of toffee and straw; vanilla and pistascios. Lightly malty and balanced with slightly bitter hops. There is some clover in there as well. Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish!

Not bad for a summer thirst quencher. Pale yellow colour. Decent hop flavour in bitterness with an overall clean and smooth lager flavour.

For a US brewed lager, this is pretty decent. Medium gold color - slightly amber. Nice white, foamy head - good carbonation in the glass. Nice malty body with a good dose of hops. Nice lager flavor - no off flavors detectable. Not an exciting style of beer, but this is an above average american lager.

This style of beer is seldom anything special, but this particular entry was quite a bit more satisfying than I expected. It was crisp and full, without the watery aftertaste present in other similar microbrewed "lagers." This beer is best served ice cold and out of the bottle on a hot summer day. Three or four in a row could go down pretty easily.
