1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
This bottled brew bottled on 1/26/05 batch 1664 poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was transparent and yellow orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of malty corn . Its mouth feel is initially tingly with a lingering tingly palate and a aftertaste. Its flavor contained thin weak mildy astringent notes. A below average brew.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a light gold color, small white head that dissappears almost immediately. Nose is light, sweet malt, a bit of caramel. Flavor follows the nose, hops are almost undetectable. Inoffensive is the best way I can describe this.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Another in a string of beers I had that was perfectly good but straighforward. Lacks the firm malt backbone of say a Victory all-malt lager. But, an easy drinker for those times you want a decent beer and canít find a glass, or something for a crowd.

nothing special as lagers go. very straight forward, nice head, not overly flavorful but not a bud light either.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
thanks to firemoose15, i would have thought this was a Helles based upon the sweet caramel and grass aroma, which were mirrored in the taste almost with nothing else. there was a little bit of hoppy bitterness at the very end, but i thought this was a nice beer with a very high drinkability value.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
120z Bottle: Ugh. Smells like a greasy Greek-style pizza crust, with a little water, and a faint hint of spice. Smell is so putrid I can barely put the glass to my mouth. Cloudy golden color. Quickly diminishing, small, white head. No lacing. Flavor, now that is a hard one. I guess slightly grassy and bitter. Thin and metalic. Watery. Worst Otter Creek beer I have had; Iíd rather drink a Miller Light.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Poured like Budweiser ... check that ... Bud Light. Aroma was off. I guess thereís some malts, but I only got a whiff of socks when I lifted this to my mouth. Luckily it didnít taste like feet. Light flavor, some fruit, some malt and some chalk. Overall, not very good.

3.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This ainít your typical lager beer. This Vermont lager has such a clean finish. The water quality shines through this craft beer. Water is the most important component and this lager taps the Brita Filter! Kiss a beaver! 100th rating!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I thought this beer was quite tasty. Poured yellow/golden with a creamy white head. The head retention was a bit short. Smell had citrus, lemon and caramel. Same deal with the taste. The citrus and lemon came through nicely at the end. A solid beer for the last days of summer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle - Poured a pale yellow in color with a fairly thin white head that diminished quickly. Aroma was of sweet malt and fruity hops. Flavor had plenty of malt that nicely balanced the hefty hop hit. Finished with a slightly sweet malt and lastly faint bitterness. OK, but not real distintive. Worth repeating.
