Commercial Description:
White Sail is a Belgian-style white beer, craft brewed with wheat, malted barley, hops, and a little bit of coriander and orange peel. It is mild yet flavorful, with fruity undertones and a haze from the yeast and wheat. This ale is delicious on its own, or with a slice of orange.

Poured to a light, hazy yellow full of suspended yeast, with a thin white head that lingered to mid-glass and left oaky lacing. Aroma was a semi strong mixt of oranges, grapefruit, wheat and spices, and the mouthfeel reflected this by being slightly tangy, slightly spicy. The taste of this thimnn bodied beer was more on the citrusy side, and this all led to a short, slightly stale finish. Not a great white beer!

This one poured a murky yellow color. The aroma is coriander and lemons. The flavor contains some lemons, grapefruit, and peaches. A rather thin body to this one. Even as a fan of witbiers I must call this one subpar. Nothing offensive but nothing great either.

Appearance: Pours a clear, bright yellow body encircled by a ring of white bubbles. Smell: Aroma of wheat, yeast, flowers, ground coriander spice and oily citrus peels. Taste: Light wheat flavor with a medium, candyish sweetness which flavors of spice and citrus help to balance. Slight floral hints. Finishes clean except for the lingering spice on the tongue. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Slight stickiness. Drinkability: An acceptable witbier, though definitely more suited for being served during the hot summer months.

Pours a transparent bright golden with a fizzy wispy white head. Aroma of fresh orange citrus and a touch of coriander and pale malt. Starts effervescent and faintly sweet and pale malty with a decent balance of citrus and coriander spice before a drier, slightly earthy finish. An ok witbier.

This pours a dirty, dirty yellow and comes across instantly with its citrus smell. The aroma is ful of wheat, orange even a little lemon. It tastes almost like SunnyDee [sp?] on crack. That make any sense? The head is non existant. As it settles though the flavor is ok but a bit too sweet for a white - yes, even for a white. I could see adding a citrus fruit to this to kick in the flavor but I don’t normally enjoy that. It might be just too much. I could probably only drink one or two at a sitting, if I had to. In fact as I go on it is hitting my stomach a bit hard.

Pours a cloudy pale orange with a two finger frothy yellowish head. The aroma is sweet, some orange, spicy, sour wheat, grassy. Taste spice and clove, coriander, orange, grassy, sour wheat, peppery. Spicy lively mouthfeel. Not bad.
