pamoja (57), Rochester, New York, USA Oct 6, 2007 Very good belgian white brewed in Vermont. I haven’t had a better Belgian brewed in America. Hazy white color due to the unfiltered state. White undiminishing head with great aroma. Very smooth and balanced with perfect amount of citrus. glaze0101 (78), USA Nov 13, 2007 What a great summer beer! This is a staple for my house. Pours fairly clear with little head. Has a nice hoppy taste with no stale aftertaste. BigBen2120 (553), Gardiner(52 miles from Allagash), Maine, USA Jun 2, 2008 12oz brown screwtop (!!) bottle from Hannaford in Portland. Pours a dark yellow to orange murky body with no head. Smells very very fruity, with lemon and orange dominating and maybe a hint of berry? Tastes like orange, lemon, pith, yeast, something I can’t quite put my finger on - berry? vanilla? Very sweet and citrussy in any case. Light-bodied with ample carbonation helps make this really really drinkable. Tasty and accessible for sure. Maybe not as close to style as some, and certainly no Allagash White (what is?), but damn tasty, and I’ll be buying a few of these for my non beer geek friends to try! rampmaster (127), Alden, New York, USA May 1, 2008 It pours a hazy pale yellow with a frothy white head. White lacing slowly sides down the sides of the glass. Orange peel and wheat malts fill the nose. The flavor is sweet, tangy and creamy like an orange creamsicle. Tangy orange, coriander and light wheat malts are balanced by some light bitterness in the finish. It has a creamy texture and a light to medium body. BeerHeadBobby (140), Apex, North Carolina, USA Jun 9, 2007 Bottled - Pours an extremly hazy orange... Lots of orange and spice on the nose..Lots of typical white ale spices.. Citrusy... overall a really good american twist on a great style
