BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA May 20, 2008 Bottle: Pale gold color, light white head and a light lacing. Nose of light citrusy orange and pale malt. The flavor is also a bit thin with some basic malt and yeast esters playing on the basic hop and citrus notes. The finish is light and grassy, some extra esters there too. Eh.
jkaiser (74), USA Aug 25, 2008 Powerful coriander mouthfeel. Medium bodied American Belgian. Lite hops. I taste wheat and barley. A bit of carbination. No real haze to speak of. Tingely mouth in the begining. Goes down with a weird chewy acidic orange feel at the end. Wouldn’t try this one again, but not a bad beer. No head, no lacing. Not complex and not sweet. phishpond417 (1409), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 21, 2008 This is a what beer? a witbier? I don’t know man, very dissapointing considering i really like this brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a small barely noticeable head. Zero lacing, aroma is blah. Hint of lemongrass, and grain. Taste was anything but what it should have been. Grainy, very little wheat, off dry, not even hint of sweetness. dkachur (756), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 17, 2008 12 oz. bottle from WIne Warehouse. Hazy dark orange pour with minimal head. Aroma of strong wheat and spice. Taste is much the same with more pronounced citrus notes. Smooth, but a little thin. mmm///beer (530), Austin, Texas, USA Aug 11, 2008 12 oz. bottle poured into tumbler- poured murky orange yellow, hihg-medium carbonation, very thin ring around the glass for a head. Aroma of coriander, clove, lemon, citrus, and wheat. Hits the mouth with a high-thin body, wheat is detectable, some citrus and coriander in the middle, finish has sweetness and acidity to it. bu11zeye (3656), Frisco, Texas, USA Aug 6, 2008 (Draught) Pours a cloudy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, clove, orange peel, and coriander. Flavor of wheat, coriander, lemon zest, and orange peel with a watery mouthfeel.
