COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Winter Red Ale has the traditional characteristics of a red ale with the addition of an ample amount of hops to create subtle bitterness and medium aroma. A perfect ale for a bitter winter evening.

12 oz bottle Poured a very deep amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, head that diminished but lasted throughout. Sparkling. Very nice lacing. lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, with a nice hop balance. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt and hop finish is lightly bitter. Very appealing nose. Not an overdone or spicy winter ale.

Pours a deep ruby red with a very hoppy aroma. Taste is mildly sweet up front and finishing with a nice dry crispness. Expected it to be sweeter, but it has a nice clean flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz ruby amber filtered color. Frothy off-white head. Medium bodied, moderately hopped Amber, a slight touch of cherry vanilla in the finish. Certainly malt centered, very mild and sessionable. Not bad, sort of a run-of-the-mill beer in general though.

Not bad, has a nice mild well blended malt/hop aroma. A nice body, well carbonated. Has a bit of roast malt taste with a small after taste of piney hops.

BoMC selection. Red as description notes. nice just off-white head. There is a big malt aroma that turns to candy sweetness. Flavor is muddled, hops and malt don’t play well together. Hop flavor is distracting despite caramel malts attempt to make this a decent beer. This went downhill from the appearance.

Bottle. Pours a dark copper color with a big foamy white head. Nose is rich grainy and nutty up front with light grassy hop notes in the rear. Palate is smooth with a light bite. Flavors of rich toffee and nuts with a nice resin hop backbone.
