Bottle. Copper to near dark brown pour. Very murky. Small random bubbles gathered together on the right side of the glass. Nose is caramel, sweet malts, flowery hops and apple skins. Taste is hoppy and floral with more apple skins, soft caramel and sweet malts. Very bitter taste and lingering bitterness throughout. Body is soft and light-medium. Carbonation is there but seemingly faded. Ends with more caramel, sweet malts, apple, floral hops and some earthy hops. More bitterness.

Light-golden body with lace and a bit of foam. Faint smell hops. A fresh ale, as if it was tapped a day ago, of understated and malted hoppy ale, not too bitter. Above average carbonation for a UK produced ale. Very drinkable, medium mouthfeel. Citrus and lightly grapefruity.

500ml Bottle from Jungle Jim’s. Poured hazy dark amber with medium white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium aroma of fruity, malt and yeast. Medium body. Good flavor of sweet malt and medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Above average bitter.

Totally fruity and toasty, bready. Melds together very well. Peach in the aroma. Minerally water. I could drink this all day. I love this type of English bitterness.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, nutty brown with a small, off-white head. Fat aroma of caramel, nuts and roasted malt. Medium body with roasted caramel accents with a short, dry bitterness. Sort of a "mini Barley Wine"! 130507

Small white coarse head. Hazy orange-red body with light carbonation. Oily caramel and perfume aroma. Roasty caramel taste with resiny notes. Oily, dead mouthfeel. Vague, resiny aftertaste. It’s OK, but boring. (0.5l bottle.)

500 ml bottle. Hazy dark amber colour. An extremely coarse off-white head. Rich caramelly aroma and slightly oily. Peppery and appley. Malt flavour is slightly off, but is quite rich. There is a hint of oxidization. Fig-like flavours. A little hop bitterness in the finish, but mostly watery aftertaste except for perhaps a little more of the figs. Overall not very interesting, even a little dull.

Pours a deep amber with an off white head. The nose is greeted with the aromas of caramel, fruit, and toffee. Flavor has caramel, fruit, and hops.
