The purest spring water drawn from the River Otter is used to brew this traditional 19th Century-style IPA with a bit of a twist. Handcrafted with English floor malts and our very own yeast, we have added five of the US Pacific Northwest’s most citrus-flavored, aromatic whole cone hops to create a new, complex, highly drinkable beer.

Bottled, 500ml from Beer of Europe, Norfolk. Hazed amber with white head. Sweet, caramel, toffee malting, quite heavy on the palate, with an over ripe strawberry fruitiness, not as sharp as you would expect an IPA to be. Some aromatic type hops, they struggle a little with the sweet malts, but quite drinkable all the same.

Orange amber with small head. Citrus hops and sweet caramel bready malts. Taste is very sweet. Also has faint pepperiness to the hops. Remains aphoristically English as it is not "hoppy" by American standards. Balanced. Alcohol is well hidden.

Medium hazy orange amber, very slight head faded fast. Aroma is significantly hoppy, loads of citrus and pine, very much in a Pacific Northwest style. Some caramel oreinted malts on the nose as well. Flavor is not nearly as hoppy as the nose, almost as if they skimped on that addition in favor of focusing on late aroma hops. Lots of caramel and slightly fruity malt flavors with some citric and pine hops on the finish in a backup role. A touch sweet. Interesting twist on the style overall. Not bad.

Pours a goodly sized offwhite head with good retention and plenty of sticky lace. Clear copper hued ale. Nose is softly fruity, lightly earthy with some caramel notes, a hint spicey. Body is med/light, lightly oily on the palate with a gentle carbonation and a slight astringency. Lightly sweet carael malt flavors up front, light citrus and some faint toasty malts also, a bit fruity and earthy with some grainy notes as well. Finish is almost dry with a gentle hop bite. Should of chilled it a bit more i do believe? Bottle procured @statelinliquors.

50 cl bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a hazy deep amber color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head. Faint spotty lacing. Aroma is primarily floral hops with a touch of esters. Flavor is lightly sweetened toasted malt, light esters, and hops. Medium body. Nothing fancy, but a drinkable IPA.

Not looking forward to this one. A buddy got this the same time I did and he said it was horrible. Been sitting on it for over a year. Pours a cloudy brown with an off-white creamy head. The aroma is malty, sweet, caramel, toffee, and a hint of hops. The taste is a watered-down bitter, a little sour on the tongue. Not as bad as I dreaded. As I keep drinking it, more of the maltiness sticks with you.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy amber with a small rough off-white head. Somewhat citrusy aroma, but also somewhat greasy. Solid carbonation, carbonation is a little low. Sweet fruit and caramel, the hops are slightly citrusy but aroma-wise they are pretty downplayed. Ends fairly bitter. Not too bad though. 030511
