Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Citrus hop nose with English malt. Malty flavor with a dank bitter finish. Not my favorite style but tastes spot on.

Sampled on cask at the brewery this beer poured a dark orange-caramel color with a large creamy tan head. The aroma was sweet, fuirty and floral hops with a touch of caramel. The flavor was bitter, tart and tangy with noted os floral hops and a vague fruitiness though a bit dry. The finish was medium length sour and hoppy. Decent.

I didn’t copy you, Adrian!! On cask at Otto’s Pub and Brewery. Pours a dark but clear orange-y amber colour. Aroma of watery hops, light citrus, and grains. Taste is much the same as the aroma.

On cask at the brewpub in State College. Off-white colored head, good lacing. The aroma was pine and earthy, floral hops. The flavor followed the aroma in terms of hop profile, but the flavor featured some decent malt elements of fruity and woodsy notes. Overall a tad watery even on cask, decent still, just not better than that.

On handpump, at brewery. Pours a hazy amber body with a small wispy white head. Patchy lacing. Light floral hop nose with some toasty maltiness. Nice light and floral bitterness, short leafy hops on the finish. The malt is dry and toasty with touches of caramel. Thin and smooth mouthfeel, light carbonation, great cask conditioning. Overall, just a nice and sessionable Bitter. I could drink this all night long.

10/7/08 - Hand pull on cask. Pours orange with off-white head. Taste is toffee and caramel with lots of bitter and mild hop flavor. Nose is malty with caramel and toffee and mild earthy hops. Flavor is slpot on. . . love it. Great cask mouth feel. Slight citrus notes. Tasty.
