On tap at Otto’s. Strong aroma of honey, malts, and floral hops. Pours a clear orange copper colour with medium sized white head. Taste is slightly bitter and weak flavour of malts, floral hops and fruit. Not great.

Courtesy of Juart. Pours a clear orange amber color with a 1 1/2 finger light tan foamy head that lasts a decent while. Aroma is papery hops, sweet malt, and a little bit of stale fruit. The flavor is pretty sweet, straightforward malts. A little bit of dry vanilla and alcohol, but not a whole lot of complexity. Just simplicity done well. The body is just a touch over medium. Finishes with a slight hoppy bitterness. A decent Maibock.

22-oz bottle received from Secret Santa July 2008. Pours clear orange with a small, fizzy, off-white head, somewhat lasting with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, meal, straw), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat, dough) with notes of pear, apple, butter, and cola. Medium bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

A nice lager, with malt and good moderate hoppiness. Pours beige with a small head. Good summer drinkability. Drying aftertaste. Good with lunch.

22 oz. bomber. Pours caramel with ruby hues and a pilloy white head, two fingers dissipating to one finger. Fruity and caramel nose with a sweet, slightly wheaty smell. Lots of malt flavors, caramel, bread, biscuit and wheat. Well hopped for the style, moderate hop bitterness with lots of earthy hop flavor. Decent beer. Tasty and rather hoppy.

22oz bottle, from the brewpub. Pours copper colored, with a slightly reddish hue, capped with a thin beige head. Sweet caramel malt and grain aroma with mild hops, green apple, and some yeast. Grain and caramel up front, with some fruit and floral hops. A bit on the sweet side, but still enjoyable.
