Pale golden-straw colour. The nose is quite hoppy. Lots of zesty saaz/tettnang on the nose with a touch of light flinty/minerally bitterness. Herbal fading to a nice clean straw-like pilsner malt finish. Very zesty and spicy with some soft lemon citrus. Firm bitterness. Really damn nice.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head. Aroma of straw, cardboardy/starchy malt. Flavor of bready, cardboard malt with a fair amount of carbonation. This one is pretty bland and I didn’t much care for it.

Tap @ Otto’s - I love when a brewpub gets a lager right. Arouma is fresh grass, hay, floral and piney spruce. Caramel malts, dry cracker feels with some grainy notes and a touch of citrusy hops. Grapefruit with some salty/mineral notes that sit on the tongue and dry finish.

Draft pint, at brewery. Pours a pale gold body with a small white head that left some thick heavy lacing. Lingering wispy film for the duration. Doughy and bready pils malt with a bit of fluffy yeast on the nose, just s bit of Saaz. The flavor is very doughy and bready with a little bit of a sulfur note. Light floral hops. Medium bodied, a little clingy and sticky, with moderate fizzy carbonation. This was decent, but can’t really get too into it.
