3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Blairgus (1749) - California, USA - JUL 12, 2011
12 July 2011, bottle. light amber, slightly pinkish, clear, steady bubbles. frothy tan head. sweet malt and rosy hops in the nose. med/thin watery body w/ some carbonation. can’t say i’m a huge fan of this. it is arather nettle/briar hop flavor. there’s no real sweetness or malt flavour and the hops aren’t the best to rest a beer on.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (8239) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 28, 2011
A dark amber IPA with a thin off white head. Smooth British hops aroma with grassy and nutty notes. In mouth, a crisp malt base with very British herbal hops, lingering bitterness, medium bodied. Nice. On tap at PA Flavor, April 9th, 2011.

Nice citrus notes on the nose. Pours a ruby brown with a light white head. Big hop explosions on the tongue especially if you aerate it. The taste lingers nicely.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 kramer (3873) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 14, 2011
22 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is bright and citrusy with lots of fresh hops and a moderate caramel malt base that has a touch of toastiness. The flavor is rather bright and citrusy as well with some nice grapefruity notes. A little more malt backbone than the Mt Nittany Pale, and not quite as floral. Still quite drinkable though, and not sweet at all. Medium bodied, a touch of chewiness in the texture with moderate fizzy carbonation. I really like the aggressiveness of the hops here while maintaining the 5% alcohol. Good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 deyholla (4782) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 10, 2011
Bottle thanks to Brian! Poured a clear deep amber with a tan head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had a grapefruit note as well as grass and a hint of backing grain. Flavor was similar with the grapefruit being more dominate and just a hint of backing hay and grass.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Acetobacter (816) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2011
Enjoyed from a 22oz bomber in an English pint glass. The nose shows a pleasant malt character, along with a tea-like herbal note. However, it shows age, and lacks the hop presence one would expect from an American-style IPA. The palate is malt-forward, again showing a very pleasant complexity, reminiscent of a very high-quality Vienna lager. Munich comes through, especially. Carbonation is nicely calibrated. The finish is lightly malty and clean. Overall, it would be great to try the beer fresh, but a nice effort, even after a far longer time than the brewer likely intended.
