COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic American IPA with lots of floral punch and assertive hop presence. Hopped with Nugget, Palisade and Amarillo colored to a reddish hue thanks to Munich and Aromatic malts.

This is a very good IPA from our friends in State College, PA. It is regularly available now so it shouldn’t be "Special Seasonal". It it noticeably more hoppy than the Mt. Nittany. Clean up front, bitter hoppy back.

Pours a rusty amber orange color with a small head. Nose is a deep sweet citrus with a nice scents of pine. Taste is sweet with bustling citrus, quite full of flavor and taste. Finishes sweetly with a nice bitter citrus ending. Quaff Score 8 / 10

22 oz. Bottle from the Brew Pub. Impressive, a good "middle of the road" IPA that does not go "over the top with the hop". Well done here.

Had this at the 2011 Pittsburgh Ratebeer Christmas Eve Eve Tasting. 12 oz bottle of rude ipa, certainly on style as far as I’m concerned. Clear and a little darker than a pale lager. Big hoppy aroma. Taste is of course over the top hops but it is a little dull. Surprisingly, it does have some creamy carbonation, something I’m not used to in a strong ipa. Finish? Bitter long medicinal feel. Again, on style.

hazy amber, thin lasting white ring. Nose is stale cardboard and cheese, light grass and resin. Flavor is more resin and grapefruit front, mid is caramel and oxidation, finish shows more resin and light fruit. Thin, sticky, hopefully this isn’t fresh.
