Bottle… C&P’sLYFO Throwdown… Fairly clear burnt orange ale with a small, creamy, fat-bubbled, white head. The nose is grassy and piney. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Perfectly balanced - much like a PNW IPA - with a pinch of salt. Crisp, moderately bitter finish. Bottle provided by otakuden! Video = http://homepage.mac.com/maltajo/RATEBEER/iMovieThe

3fourths (7887) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 24, 2008
UPDATED: APR 1, 2009 mostly clear deep amber body. Big, wet nose of caramel cherry malt, sticky cedar scented hops, disjointed and a bit messy. Big full and chewy crystal malt, some wet hop qualities, greenness, but not really that fresh or fruity, more like veggies (celery). Okay overall, but messy, and comes across as a hoppy red ale.

Draft, then bomber. Pours deep brownish ruby with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is juicy hops, fruit, caramel malt, mild peppery notes. Tastes rich, with a solid caramel malt bill, earthy, fruity hops, and a complex finish. Leaves you wanting more.
