Transparent deep golden bronze color with a well-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of fresh citrusy grapefruity hops and a touch of pale malty sweetness. Body starts with good fullness and a nice amount of sweetness which is well-balanced with the resiny bittering and flavor hops before a crisp, bittersweet finish. A nice, very drinkable IPA.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 3fourths (6960) - Vilnius, LITHUANIA - OCT 24, 2008
UPDATED: APR 1, 2009 mostly clear deep amber body. Big, wet nose of caramel cherry malt, sticky cedar scented hops, disjointed and a bit messy. Big full and chewy crystal malt, some wet hop qualities, greenness, but not really that fresh or fruity, more like veggies (celery). Okay overall, but messy, and comes across as a hoppy red ale.
