3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub. Aroma is a pale glow of lemony sugars and dusty grains. Pours a clear amber, with a thin rim of off-white. Flavor is a middle dense sugar, with edges of caramel, tanginess and palpable grain husk bitterness. Esters and astringency. I appreciate the malt body, but it gets cut by off bitterness, a curt dry note, and not really any balancing hops. Floorlike. Not digging this.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub on 4/9/07: Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin, frothy covering of white head. Aroma of slightly toasty and sweet Vienna malt with a touch of Hallertau hops. Sweet, caramely malty body has a nice touch of toasted grain toward a thinner, bittersweet finish. A pretty nice Vienna.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: APR 1, 2009 Draft at the brewpub, Jan 2007 version. Golden fire color, clear. Nose of apples, cranberries and honey. Palate is noticeably thin, and flavor is more faint than expected, but still has a solid biscuit malt, honey and apple flavor. Fairly good, but not exactly what I like in Vienna lager.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2006 Great light lager. Lite red color, slight fruity aroma. Taste great every time it hits the tongue, good aftertaste. One of Otto’s great lighter beers. Good one for people who don’t like to take chances on a "beer". Cheers!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This should be recategorized into the Vienna style I think. It certainly doesnt pour like a pale lager, but rather it is a medium copper color and almost no head. Aroma is mostly hoppy with lots of subtle spices, and herbal/floral hints. Good malt profile- light caramel hints, some bready hints, and a great hop flavor and moderate bitterness. Relatively smooth, and easy to drink.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Good aroma. A bit tart, decent hops and nice malt presence. Caramel-amber clear with off-white lacing head. Low-medium carbonation in a medium body, very palatable. Taste starts out acidic with light sweetness, very little bitterness. Finish has no bitter, a touch of sweetness, and quite a bit of acidity. Sour presence throughout, but has balancing malts. A good session beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper color with no head. Malt and light citrus aroma. Very malty, light spice, and mild, dry, hop finish. OK, but nothing spectactular.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I liked this beer, and Otto's is a great place. Pours darm amber, with medium head. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus, and florals. Tastes malty, bitter, with hints of spice and fruit. Very complex. I took a growler of this to go.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Average lager, the color was a bit darker than most lagers out there, it had a nice reddish tint, nice lacy white head that laced the glass, subtle malty profile, dry finish
