COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A amber hued lager with a smooth malt palate and a dry finish. A great session beer brewed in the style of Vienna lagers.

On tap at the brewpub. Aroma is a pale glow of lemony sugars and dusty grains. Pours a clear amber, with a thin rim of off-white. Flavor is a middle dense sugar, with edges of caramel, tanginess and palpable grain husk bitterness. Esters and astringency. I appreciate the malt body, but it gets cut by off bitterness, a curt dry note, and not really any balancing hops. Floorlike. Not digging this.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours deep brownish amber with thin beige head. the aroma is mild and fruity with melon, an odd crystal malt touch, and some cotton candy. The flavor is herbal hops, light caramel sweetness, and a touch of grainy sourness. Leafy sweetness comes out for the finish. Not really my thing, but it’s definitely smooth drinkin.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4763) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 22, 2013
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel-brown color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded and left good lacing. The aroma was tart, tangy and citric. The flavor was bitter, tart and tangy with fruity and citric hops and some astringency underneath. Long citric hop finish. Medium body and smooth. Pleasant.

Good aroma. A bit tart, decent hops and nice malt presence. Caramel-amber clear with off-white lacing head. Low-medium carbonation in a medium body, very palatable. Taste starts out acidic with light sweetness, very little bitterness. Finish has no bitter, a touch of sweetness, and quite a bit of acidity. Sour presence throughout, but has balancing malts. A good session beer.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is light cookie and caramel malt, spicy hops and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt forward with medium hops and bitterness and a sweet finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

Average lager, the color was a bit darker than most lagers out there, it had a nice reddish tint, nice lacy white head that laced the glass, subtle malty profile, dry finish

Sample at the brewpub. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Pale malt nose with a bit of hop. Noble hop flavor with a bit of malt before a crisp finish.

Did not care much for this beer. Very plain. Nothing really special going on with the malts, hops, or any spices. Boring. No need to ever have again.
