A Mes rate. Bottle at some random bar in Brussels.
Clean gold with a decent white head. Sweet, slightly grainy and a faint bitterness. Rahter aggresive carbonation but still remaining very drinkable. Nice and dry in the finish. Straight forward but decent.

Bottle, 4.5%. Fruity aroma. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is also fruity. Has some CO2 flavour, a bit too high carbonation. Uninteresting.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Sweet fruity nose. Light body, dry fruitiness with a little spices. Dry sulphurous finish with some bitterness. 241009

The 33 cl bottle pours a sparkling gold with fluffy white head that fades fast. Sweet cereal nose, a touch fruity, with some alcohol fusels there. Moderately sweet taste checked by mild bitterness on very lively bubbles, getting pretty dry on the finish. Good malt flavor for its color and strength. Just bitter enough to be serious. I think I like it better than the tripel...

Bottle, 33 cl. (bought @ Vanden Bussche) Almost clear golden color, with good white head. Aroma malts, spices. Medium body. Taste sweet, malts, light bitterness, taste like a light tripel. Good. (for a light alcoholic beer)

Very good white head over clear golden bere with coppery shine. Spicy nose, peppery, point of citrus. Again this peppery, mustardy flavour, going over in (old) wholemeal flour; honey retronasal. However, the beer is a bit lifeless, which is strange for a beer having lees for refermentation. Light to medium bodied. Nice flavours, pity about the feel. WHY doesn’t the label states where it is really brewed?? Certainly isn’t at Oud Beersel, which isn’t a working brewery, but the only address mentioned. -1 point
