PlutonowyMan (110) - POLAND - JUN 1, 2015
Polecam.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy gold with white head. An ok tripel character, light yeast and fruit esters but a little staid and lacking the sparkle of its peers.

markextrae (1903) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 4, 2015
shared sample with a friend at ZBF 15, after the (incredible) bersalis tripel oak aged. i had to try the base beer. poured a clearer blonde colour with a white head, notes of malts, citrus, cut grass, some stone fruits, peach, yeast, juicy, bit of a burned caramel, wheat, nowhere near the oak aged. doesn’t even taste like it.

Found back quite some tasting notes, among them, this one. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, nice stable white head. NOSE: grains, some alcohol, pleasantly fruity. TASTE: grains, wheat, bit fruity. Very nice to see that with these beers, Oud Beersel was able to get back making lambic!
