Bottle from Sun Devil Liquors. Pours Brown with a nice khaki head that leaves a lot of lacing. Lots of bread and spices on the nose. slightly sweet on the tongue and Belgian yeasty. Hides the alcohol really well. It’s a solid Belgian especially for the money.

Sweet, but not too sweet. It’s my favorite Belgian beer so far. And they have it on tap at Delirium :)

Sampled out of the bottle at la trappe. A classic Belgian brew. Has a malty carbonated base to it. Really quality.

Kolejne dobre i niezawodne piwo z Belgijskiej rajskiej i piwnej krainy. Browar ktory raczej produkuje wspaniale lambicki tu uwazyl tripla. W swojskim stylu, nagazowanego ze spora piana i zlotawym lekko metnym kolorze. W smaku ananas i chlebowa lekkosc i swiezosc. Finisz wytrawny. Tresciwe piwo i pozostawia na dlugo w ustach swoje smaki.

gouden/oranje vlokkerig met minimaal witte kraag
aroma: moutig, zoet, citrus, rood fruit, graan, fruitig
smaken: medium zoet, licht bitter, sterk, sinaasappel, appel
medium body, vettig
aardig bier, alleen jammer van die mega zweem aan vlokkerigheid. zelfs uitschenkend tot dikkere vlokken, niet aangenaam.

In general it is a good beer, but nothing really special. Aroma is not really its strongest point. Tastes good, but a little bit too sweet, although I like the spicy flavour. Appearance results in a nice gold color.

Draught at De Delirium Taphouse, Brussles. Golden clear beer with a white head. Fudge, malty, hoppy, fruity and spicy aroma. Sweet, tropical fruits, hoppy, malty caramell flavour. A bit too sweet for me...

A steady pour into my teku glass produces a fat-three-finger thick, pale, off-white colored head. The beer is a bright, pale amber color that shows a brilliantly clear, gold / copper hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells of sweet grain, a touch of cotton candy, vanilla scented golden raisins, sweet melon notes, and just a candied pale malt character, which means the overall effect of the nose is on the sweet and cloying side of the spectrum. This has notes of sweet corn, DMS, and just too much graininess in general here in the nose.

Definitely sweet, with a grainy, sort of corn like sweetness that lingers on the palate for way too long. Light spicy notes provide an earthiness, some definite clove flavors, a bubble gum like flavor, and a dirty coriander water note. Very little balancing hop bitterness or flavors, in fact hop notes are not really noticeable at all here. The body has a medium fullness to it, there is quite a bit of carbonation, but for whatever reason this doesn’t help too much.

This is not so different from many a Belgian ale, but it is also the type that I really don’t enjoy; sweet, unbalanced, seemingly unrefined (to my tastes), and just cloying.
