Pours a clear golden color with weird chunks floating and a medium white head. The aroma isn’t appealing, there’s a strong presence of alcohol in there with some citrus. The flavor is blanc, some citrus, honey sweetness but mostly boring, especially no character from the yeast, that is weird for a trippel, which I think is a style defined by the yeast.

DownsouthGav (601) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2007
Nose of spice, citrus and some yeast. Pours a cloudy and appealing yellow amber beer. Large head reduces quickly. Lightly carbonated. Honey, alcohol, malt, some cloying. Nice but somewhat unbalanced drink. Nice sweetness finishes abruptly on a mild spciy note.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, deep golden with a tall, handsome and lasting, white head. Aroma of sweet malt, yeast and alcohol. Rather full-bodied with some diacetyl, lightly sweet malt and yeast. The finish both has some hops and alcohol showing. But a fairly well-made Tripel. 0408907
