Decent tripel. This beer is a light yellowish orange with a foamy white head. Good lacing. The aroma is Belgian yeast, light malt and an unfortunate solvent note. The flavor is rather sweet and sorta simple. Itís just a lot of light malt and not enough earthy depth from the yeast. Thereís some booze in there, too. Itís not a bad beer at all but just above average for a tripel. Mouthfeel is effervescent. Itís always nice to try a new Belgian.

750, corked and baled. Pours a crystal clear medium gold with a dense and creamy white head that really sticks around. Dense sheets of attractive lace on the side of the glass. Sticky palm sugar and green apples on the nose. Creamy medium body with tons of lively carb. Toast, caramel, green apples, and a bit of dust on the mid-palate. Long sticky sweet apple pie finish. Solid tripel, but lacking in complexity, especially given the ABV.

This beer has lots of great spice aroma and flavour with an underlying sweetness on the palate. It in no way comes across as 9.%ABV, but thatís what it is, very drinkable and enjoyable. This beer has changed my opinion a bit about Belgian tripels, I think the malt sweetness makes it seem more drinkable to me.

Bottle 33cl. A golden beer with huge white head. Very near to Duvel but more sweet and less astringent. Aroma is on wheat malt and hops, bit spicy. Body is medium to hight, not bad, quite alcoholic.

A bottle; aged and poured at home. Very sour aroma. Also vegetables. Suggest PMT. The sediment is quite heavy and lumpy. Gashed out a couple of times. The taste is very spicey; overtly so, pears, caramel and sharp zest peel or something. Just generally nothing special. I donít like pears and Iím not very fond of this. I think it is a little shot and this rating probably is unfair. Howeveer their kriek beer is outstanding.

33cl bottle. Gold color with a lasting white head. Bright fruity aroma with some strawberry, honey, and rubbery alcohol. Sweet and boozy with some pale bready malt, honey, and warming alcohol flavors. Substantial body that comes off as a little chewy. Well carbonated. Hot, a touch fusely, and just too sweet.

Sample at tasting. Hazy golden pour with a large foamy white head that lasts ages. Aroma has notes of caramel, candy sugar and spices with a hint of tropical fruits like banana and pineapple. Flavour is more malty but still quite sweet and slightly funky. Light, dry mouthfeel with high carbonation and a lingering dry, sweet finish. The alcohol is very well hidden. Pretty good tripel, well balanced and, despite the abv, easy to drink.

Bottle. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, perfume. Quite sweet taste of yeast, fruit, malt and some bitterness. Alcoholic but still drinkable.
